A new floating convenience store and snack bar has arrived at the Halls Crossing Marina. Barges towed the store nearly 100 miles up Lake Powell to its new home on a journey that lasted four days. The Arizona Game and Fish Department is working to save lives by preventing drownings at Lake Pleasant with the installation of new Life Jacket Loaner Stations at the lake's four- and 10-lane boat ramps. Kurt R. Davis is the new chairman of the Arizona Game and Fish Commission. Davis will lead the five-member commission for the 2015-16 fiscal year, which began July 1.
