Pleasant Harbor and Evofit, will be hosting the 1st Annual Pleasant Harbor Dam Cancer! 5K Run/Walk at Lake Pleasant on Saturday, Oct. 13. Summer is the perfect time to visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon because the higher elevation of the North Rim means forest and cool summer days. The North Rim is usually a lot less crowded than the South Rim as well, mostly because it takes a lot longer to get there. The Arizona Game and Fish Department reminds everyone to be Bear Aware, following separate incidents where habituated bears became a public safety threat and needed to be humanely euthanized under department policy.
