    The images are incredible. A bobcat that has scampered to the top of a saguaro cactus -- and it was quite a climb! The photos were captured in Gold Canyon, on the foot of the Superstition Mountains. The bobcat was trying to get away from a mountain lion that was stalking it, explains the photographer Curt Fonger.     Grand Canyon, Ariz. – National Park Service (NPS) fire managers have postponed ignition of the Shoshone Prescribed Fire Unit due to precipitation over the project area. Plans for each burn unit contain a set of parameters which define the desired weather and fuel conditions under which a prescribed fire can be initiated.     May 8, 2015 Grand Canyon, Ariz. – Crews finished repairing a break in the Transcanyon Pipeline (TCP) that occurred north of Phantom Ranch late Monday, May 4th.     Grand Canyon, Ariz. – On Monday, May 11th the Grand Canyon Regional Communications Center was contacted by the Tallmadge, OH Police Department reporting a missing man who was believed to be suicidal and currently at Grand Canyon.     Rick Maxa, fishing off North Mission Bch for Halibut and White Seabass on Monday afternoon saw birds working. He threw a jig out and landed his largest local yellowtail, which was hooked on a Salas 7x light. Rick brought the fish into Seaforth Sportfishing where it was weighed in by RC Newton at 45# 10 oz.     Grand Canyon, Ariz. –Effective June 1, 2015, Grand Canyon National Park will increase park entrance fees and the cost of overnight backcountry permits. The current park entrance fees have been in place since 2006. Grand Canyon began charging for overnight backcountry permits in 1997 and last modified backcountry fees in 2000.
