Winter HAHWG Meeting Set For February

The winter Hunting, Angling Heritage Workshop Group (HAHWG) will gather under the tent at the Arizona Game & Fish headquarters under the tent at the Archery Center on Saturday, Feb. 24.

Other important events just ahead are these two:

CHA Mentored Javelina Hunting Camp – Thursday through Sunday, Feb. 22-25; mentors and camp assistance always welcomed (sorry this overlaps with winter meeting)

AZSCI Junior Jack Kamp – March 9-11

For more information, contact Douglas Burt at dburt@azgfd.com or (623) 236-7487 or cell phone or text: (602) 531-7578.

Note: Burt mentions that he recruited two new hunters in 2017: his wife and his son. They both got their first doves, and his wife got a jackrabbit. He reports that all the cooked game meat was “fantastic”. He closes his new-year message with this: “Here’s to a fruitful 2018; may you and yours be healthy and happy all year long.”
