Times Spent Outdoors: Priceless!

HAHWG To Meet In Flagstaff

The Hunting And Angling Heritage Workgroup (HAHWG) will hold their summer meeting July 22-23 at the Arizona Nordic Village in Flagstaff (was Nordic Center, new owners).

The group will return to the two-day format, meeting from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, followed by a dinner, social hour, networking and campfire, then Sunday from 8 a.m. – noon to allow folks time to get home at a decent time. If you have a topic we've been missing in our discussions, send it my way.

If you are interested in joining HAHWG or wish to provide topics for discussion, please contact Doug Burt, Hunting and Shooting Sports Program manager with the Arizona Game and Fish Department: dburt@azgfd.gov or (623) 236-7487 or (602) 531-7578 cell/text.

Burt added congratulations to HAHWG winners of 2016 AZGF Commission awards: Jim and Carol Allen of Western Outdoor Times, Outdoor Writer(s) of the year (OTY); Mule Deer Foundation, Conservation Organization OTY, and Jim Lawrence of MDF, for Conservationist OTY.
