While chocks are a welcome hardware addition to help wrangle dock lines, installing yet another protruding accessory on a boat's crowded deck can cause second-guessing. Surface Mount Folding Chocks from Accon Marine offer two benefits: they eliminate the need for large installation holes, and they lay flat when not in use. This helps to maintain a cleaner, safer deck without sacrificing convenience.

Crafted from marine-grade 316 stainless steel for exceptional durability and corrosion resistance, Accon Marine Surface Mount Folding Chocks pull up with gentle finger pressure. Their modern design looks beautiful while working hard to protect surfaces against abrasion damage caused by taut mooring lines. When not needed, each chock folds flat into its base, which sits less than 3/4" above the deck.

The 4-1/2" model 502-4 chock accommodates mooring lines up to 5/8" in diameter while the larger 6" version 502-6 handles up to 3/4" lines. With no need for a deck cut-out, each installs quickly with just three stainless steel screws. This allows positioning in almost any location, including otherwise difficult spaces over bulkheads or where under-deck fasteners would get in the way.
