Times Spent Outdoors: Priceless!

On The Cover September 2023

Autumn Is Action Packed!

Although the heat continues to scorch the Desert Southwest, the good times ahead remind us of all the cool events Arizona has to offer. Soon, Lake Pleasant will revel in the sounds of western music at the September "Countryfest". Best Fest In The West - Come Celebrate Country

At the same time, hunters will eagerly be hitting the countryside for the ever-popular dove-hunting season. And, as the cooler temperatures finally arrive, there are ideal times to visit some of the state's lakes (which are full this year!) and to get ready for camping or a unique visit to the Petrified Forest.

Although we are cheering on this season in Arizona and the great possibilities it holds, we are also mindful of the people of Maui and their monumental tragedy. I hope many of our readers will join us in finding ways to help the victims begin to recover; it's going to take incredibly intense effort and a very long time.
