As Scorpion Bay Marina continues to expand and diversify offerings, marina concessionaire Desert Troon Companies is pleased to announce it has enhanced its leadership team with the hire of Lynn Lovelady as Scorpion Bay's marina operations manager.

Primary Point Of Contact

Lovelady is an experienced marina manager who focuses on storage, regular rental boat projects, member services and other operational and human resources-related responsibilities at Scorpion Bay. She is the members' primary point of contact and her leadership allows the marina to continue focusing on best serving valued members and guests.

"Lynn has a wealth of marina, rental and operational experience, is adept at building staff and strengthening internal teams, serving members, creating superb hospitality experiences and coordinating with multiple government, public and private entities to move projects forward," shared Jon Coulter, development vice president and director at Desert Troon Companies. "Most recently an award-winning marina director at Lake Powell, she excels at all aspect of marina leadership – from budgets and operations to premier member and employee services."

Certifications

Lynn served for six years at Lake Powell focused on large marina fleet rental management, overseeing more than 170 employees. She is certified in the following:

• Fuel dock facility management (UST A/B Certified)

• Intermediate Marina Management Certified

• Advanced Marina Management Certified

• HAZWOPER Certified

Additionally, safety has been a priority for Lynn throughout her management and professional career including work in the aviation, education and construction management industry and while serving as an elementary educator and flight instructor.
