Tlaquepaque Shines For The Season

Annual Holiday Tree Lighting With A Visit From Santa

Friday, Dec. 3 from 5 to 7 p.m.: Enjoy a traditional tree-lighting, refreshments, local holiday entertainment, and Santa's visit. Featuring music by the Sedona Charter School. This free event will take place at Tlaquepaque North and is sponsored by Tlaquepaque and Sedona Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau.

Festival Of Lights

Saturday, Dec. 3 from 3 to 8 p.m.: Few events in Sedona can boast 45 consecutive years of overwhelming success and holiday magic. Get ready for Tlaquepaque's Festival of Lights, the beloved signature Sedona event, perfect for the whole family. Come marvel at the arts village, beautifully lit with 6000 luminarias, creating a warm, golden glow flowing over every courtyard, balcony and walkway. 'Tis the season and the Festival of Lights will warm hearts and ignite the holiday spirit in everyone who participates.

For your holiday shopping pleasure, the shops and galleries will stay open until 8:00 pm. Admission is free-so is the hot cider, and, for your convenience, take the free trolley from the Uptown municipal parking lot to and from Tlaquepaque from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. Everyone is warmly invited to play their part in the lighting of 6,000 luminarias (at the stroke of 5:00 pm).

Live Performance By The Manhattan Dolls

Friday, Dec. 17 from 4 to 6 p.m.: The Manhattan Dolls originated in New York City in 2009 and are a swing-style female vocal trio with the sound of The Andrews Sisters. Walk in a "Winter Wonderland" as The Dolls take you through all of your favorite Christmas tunes with gorgeous harmonies! So gather around and get ready to sing along as you "Rock Around the Christmas Tree," schmooze with "Santa Baby" and take a quick ride with "Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer." It certainly won't be a "Silent Night" when the Dolls are singing.

Tlaquepaque Sweet Stroll

Saturday, Dec. 18 from 3 to 7 p.m.: Back for the eighth year, Tlaquepaque's Holiday Sweet Stroll is a dazzling display of sparkling lights, fantastic entertainment, sweet treats, and even sweeter holiday deals for the savvy shopper. It's a free event and everyone is warmly welcomed to soak up a dose of holiday cheer. Tlaquepaque's participating gallery and boutique shop owners are in a generous mood, so be sure to bring your best inner shopper and enjoy great holiday discounts, gifts-with-purchase options, and more.

As you peruse the holiday treasures, you'll be treated to homemade Christmas cookies, delicious chocolate truffles, candies, hot spiced cider, eggnog, liqueurs, and did we mention the chocolates? Bring the kids as this is one event they will not want to miss. Not only will Santa drop by for wishes and photo ops, but your kids can also take selfies with the Grinch! Just like all seasonal Tlaquepaque events there is epic entertainment to strike the right holiday mood from jazz, sweet flute, and violin performances to a Sedona favorite a cappella group.
