Accon Pivot Simplifies Lifting Hardware Installation

When adding lifting cleats or eyes on a boat, the positioning of bulkheads and other internal structures below deck can sometimes make this equipment difficult to install. The new 209-PA Pivot Attachment from Accon Marine overcomes these tricky situations by allowing minor alignment variances between hardware components.

Accon's Pivot Attachment helps eliminate frustrating repeated adjustments when the threaded rod doesn't precisely mate to its hardware. During installation, the user can temporarily bend the device up to 45 degrees to help navigate below-deck obstacles before placing the lifting cleat or eye components in position. For final mounting, Accon recommends variances of no more than 10 degrees from vertical to avoid undue stress on deck surfaces. Once in place, the nut on the 209-A is tightened.

This useful component boasts marine-grade stainless steel construction for unparalleled strength, durability and corrosion resistance. Measuring 3-1/4" H, the 209-PA Pivot Attachment's base is tapped for a 5/8-11 thread; its head features a 5/8-11 threaded stud of 7/8" in length. It's fully compatible with Accon Marine's line of high-quality 6", 8" and 10" lifting cleats, and array of lifting eyes. MRSP for the 209-PA Pivot Attachment is $78.23.
