Lake Havasu Sand-Water-RV Expo 2019

It's About Overcoming Adversity Through Activity And Determination

October 1, 2019

Paralyzed Veterans of America is on a mission – partnering with the 8th Annual Sand-Water-RV Expo, Lake Havasu.

Outdoor recreation, whether it's on land or water, is an activity enjoyed by millions of people, sometimes even more than you may realize. That's why the 8th Annual Sand-Water-RV Expo in Lake Havasu, sponsored by Jet Renu and co-sponsored by Sunshine RV, is proud to announce our 2019 charity partnership with Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). This is the second consecutive year that the Nov. 16-17 Sand-Water-RV Expo at Lake Havasu State Park, the premier motorsports and outdoor recreation show in the Southwest, has designated PVA as its official charity.

A Dream Becomes A Reality

Over 100,000U.S. military vets from all branches of the service with debilitating spinal cord injuries and amputations still crave active outdoor recreation just as much as the rest of us. And, thanks to recent developments like custom off-road handcycles, and some that are even electrically assisted, that dream is now reality.

To once again be able to experience what it's like to be outdoors and fully engaged in a physical sport is essential in preventing people with disabilities from surrendering themselves to a lifetime of confinement. Taking a custom off-road handcycle out on-trail is just one of the many programs organized, promoted and sponsored by PVA.

About PVA And Expo Commitment

Chartered by the United States Congress, PVA was formed in 1946 as a Veterans Service Organization and is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation. Today, there are 34 PVA chapters across America. Membership is free and open to those who have served in a branch of the U.S military and have suffered a spinal cord injury or dysfunction.

PVA works on many levels to help these vets, coordinating employment opportunities, psychological and physical rehabilitation, finding appropriate housing and governmental and legislative advocacy.

The Sand-Water-RV Expo is committed to this effort. It will be donating a portion of the total 2019 ticket revenue and all proceeds from a raffle to this organization. And when attending the Expo, you'll have an opportunity to meet some of these courageous veterans in person.

Over 140 Exhibitors, Vendors

The 8th Annual Sand-Water-RV Expo has over140 exhibitors and vendors displaying the latest in boats, pontoons, off-road vehicles, RVs, travel trailers, trucks, PWCs, kayaks, paddleboards and all related motorsports accessories and services. Expo special attractions will include Havasu Paddlefest (for all non-motorized watercraft), in-water boat demos, and a new interactive "kids corner".
