The Day on the Lake program is the only adapted water sports program for those with physical and neurological disabilities offered in Arizona. Summer 2016 marked our 20th year of helping people who suffer from a neurological disability ride the waves at one of the most accessible waterside facilities in Arizona - bartlett lake marina.
Day on the Lake 2017 will occur on the following dates: June 1-3 and Sept. 7-9. The cost is $50.00 per day for all activities, and includes a t-shirt.
New volunteers for 2017 will need to attend a volunteer training session from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the following address:
Barrow Neurological Institute
2910 N 3rd Ave
Phoenix, Arizona 85013
The first part of the session will be Day on the Lake volunteer training. The second part of the training is provided for boater safety certification. It is our policy that anyone operating any watercraft will be required to have this certificate.
