SPRING INTO SUMMER - Higher water levels at Roosevelt Lake mean a stellar boating season ahead, just in time for having great fun on the water during Spring Break - and continuing into the summer. The start of boating season is almost here and you can expect water levels at Roosevelt Lake to be higher than they have been in years!

The past few months of winter brought more than expected rain and snowfall to the area around Roosevelt Lake, as well as to the higher elevations in northern Arizona. Salt River Project reports from late February indicate that Roosevelt Lake is nearly 60 percent full.

As the weather warms heading into Spring Break and boating season, snowmelt it expected to increase runoff into the lake with preliminary reports indicating the lake could surpass levels of more than 80 percent, which has not been seen in years. Floating Hotel And Campground Accommodations

Staying the night just got more fun! Roosevelt Lake Marina recently added a Floating Hotel with two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, living room and patio. For those who like to rough it, the campground at Roosevelt Lake Marina offers plenty of room to accommodate tents, campers and RVs on the water's edge. Keep in mind that accommodations on our campsite are handled on a first-come basis. Single car/truck camping is $6 per day, and a car/truck with trailer is $10 per day. Note: We do not accept Tonto Camping Passes.

And, since the campground is located close to the boat launch ramp, guests should bring their boats or jet skis for a weekend or week packed with lake fun. Of course, the marina also rents boats for those who don't own their own. Rental boat information is available at http://www.RLMAZ.com.
