ELCI Shore-Power Inlet Adapter Kits Deliver Added Protection

November 1, 2016

Shore power systems must be well-designed and carefully built to prevent electricity and water from forming a hazardous dockside combination. Equipment Leakage Circuit Interrupter (ELCI) shore power inlet adapter kits from Hubbell Marine allow boaters to easily integrate a variety of third-party ELCI sensors and breakers into Hubbell's dependable shore power inlet housings. This provides an additional level of safety with ground fault protection for the entire AC shore power system.

Available in 30 amp and 50 amp versions, the advanced ELCI adapter kits include a Hubbell shore power inlet, a matched housing and stainless steel mounting hardware. They accept a variety of ELCI sensors and breakers from suppliers such as North Shore Safety and Sensata Technologies.

Hubbell's ELCI interface kits are built to last. They're designed to stand up to severe use by the most demanding boaters worldwide, including Captain Dave Carraro from the popular National Geographic Channel series Wicked Tuna. Captain Carraro uses the Hubbell ELCI interface and 50 amp inlet on his vessel FV-Tuna.com.

Suggested retail prices for Hubbell's ELCI shore power inlet adapter kits begin at less than $200.
