Boyd Lake will hold its first annual Lake Appreciation Day this Saturday, July 19. Events get started at 9:00 a.m. and will include volunteer clean-up opportunities, an archery demonstration, a youth fishing clinic, boat safety information, and presentations from JAX Paddle Sports, the Loveland Dive Team, Mountain Rentals, WhatSup Paddleboard, Search and Rescue Dogs of Colorado and the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. The day will end with telescope stargazing presented by the Northern Colorado Astronomical Society. The event is free and open to the public.
