The annual Tri-State Boating Safety Fair is set for Saturday, May 17 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. It will be held at London Bridge Beach Park Stage, 1340 McCulloch Blvd. N., Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Admission is free.

Boating officials from three states - Arizona California and Nevada - are teaming up to promote boating safety awareness and life jacket exchange at London Bridge Beach Park.

Arizona Game & Fish, with the help of the Lake Havasu City Police Department, are promoting boating safety awareness and a life jacket exchange program. Life jacket trade-in (bring your unsafe, torn-up, or outgrown life jackets and get a new life jacket... while supplies last) and courtesy vessel safety checks are free to the public. Boaters who frequent Lake Havasu are all urged to stop over.
