Director Campout Series Gives Opportunity For Visitors To Engage Directly With State Parks Director

(Phoenix, Arizona - September 16, 2013) - Arizona State Parks Director Bryan Martyn will hold a Director Campout Series at several State Parks throughout Arizona from September through December 2013. The purpose of the campouts is to engage visitors, residents, campers, hikers, outdoor enthusiasts and other constituents in a conversation about State Parks.

Director Bryan Martyn said, "This will be a unique opportunity for people to come out and talk to me personally and share their vision about the future of Arizona State Parks. People are welcome to voice their opinions while enjoying the beautiful landscape of our State."

Other activities that Director Martyn will engage in and visitors are welcome to join him include: fishing, hiking, bird watching and exploring. Most events at the State Parks will include a Meet and Greet session at 3:30 p.m. and a Campfire Chat at a campsite at 6 p.m. A schedule of each day's events will be posted at the Park, on the AZStateParks.com website and the AZStateParks pages on Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus.
