Bartlett Lake Marina Has It All

And It Gets Even Better — Check Out Their Special Offer Below

September 15, 2013

Bartlett Lake is located in the northeast valley only 48 miles from downtown Phoenix and 17 miles northeast of Carefree and is within one hour from most Valley locations. Access is easy from all parts of the Valley and the scenic Bartlett Lake Road that takes you from Carefree to Bartlett lake is beautiful year around.

Bartlett Lake Marina is a family owned marina. If you are a boating novice, one of the family will give you the necessary safety gear and instructions for your day on the lake.

Bartlett Lake is home to many events each year and one of the most popular is the annual “Day On The Lake” hosted by Bartlett Lake Marina and Barrow Neurological Institute. Toward the end of May each year, Barrow Therapeutic Recreation Department sponsors "Day on the Lake" to give individuals with neurological impairments the chance to participate in free water skiing, fishing, kayaking, boat rides and other watersports at Bartlett Lake.

If fishing is your thing, here is what Margie Anderson, outdoors expert, had to say about the fishing at Bartlett Lake in her article “Top To Bottom, Tips For Topwater Angling” in Arizona Boating & Watersports.

“It’s hard to beat the excitement you feel catching big bass on topwater. Topwater lures are almost always considered big-fish baits, and if you choose the right lure and work it right, you can draw the big ones out from deep water and even get suspended fish to eat.” You may see Margie’s complete article at http://www.azbw.com/past_issues/june08/Margie_Anderson.php.

Outdoor enthusiasts frequent Bartlett Lake for a variety of recreational opportunities, including shoreline camping in Arizona's natural desert terrain. While in this part of the Tonto National Forest, visitors may see mule deer, bald eagles, javelina, coyotes, and many indigenous desert plants, including the majestic saguaro, mesquite trees and blooming ocotillo.
