Zona Gives Back

There’s an awesome fishing trip awaiting a lucky angler.

August 15, 2013

Why does former pro angler and host of the Outdoor Channel's "Zona's Awesome Fishing Show," Mark Zona, love his BoatUS Angler on-the-water and road-towing membership?

• He's locked keys in his truck at the launch ramp.

• He's had two flat tires on his boat trailer.

• And "Mr. Out-of-Gas" came a-calling while out fishing on the lake.

Each time, his BoatUS Angler membership saved the day. So, to show his appreciation, the self-proclaimed knucklehead TV show host wants to take one lucky BoatUS Angler member on an "Awesome Fishing Trip."

Showing A Little Love

"I've had on the road and on the water troubles in the past, but BoatUS Angler fixed that," said Zona. "I'd like to show a little love, so I've decided to again take a BoatUS Angler member on a little slaunch quest," added Zona, referring to his prized smallmouth catch. "They'll see some of the Z-Train's secret monster smallie locations on my home waters of Michigan."

The fishing trip will take place in October, and the lucky winner will also receive a $1,000.00 gift card for airfare and lodging, and a complimentary BoatUS Angler prize pack.

You can earn a chance to win by becoming a BoatUS Angler member at BoatUSAngler.com/zona.

'AWESOME' AWARD -- Last year's Awesome trip winner, Travis Cockburn of Illinois, did well fishing with Zona, bagging countless "slaunches."

All BoatUS Angler members as of Aug. 23, 2013 are automatically entered. By random drawing, three finalists then compete for the trip by telling BoatUS Angler why they should be selected to go fishing with Mark Zona.

Winner will be announced in September. To add more entries, BoatUS Angler members may sponsor new members. For complete details visit BoatUSAngler.com/zona.
