"Puppy" Needs A New Home

Puppy is kind of a special needs dog.

He needs a lot of love and companionship.

Puppy came to his previous owner as a feral dog. Puppy wandered up to her house one winter day. His to-be new owner lived in the mountains in a remote area of New Mexico.

It was a cold winter day and he just hung around outside the house. She fed him but he would not come close. This went on for over a year. As time went by, he allowed her to get a little closer. One day he finally went into the house. He got along with the other dogs and became very close to his new owner. He was still afraid of other people and very protective of his new owner.

Puppy lived with his new family for five years. During that time he became less wary of people but was still afraid of them. He also decided that he was a lap dog. He still loves attention.

His owner died last year, and Puppy is now an orphan. He is still not sure of people but would warm up to a new owner quickly. He would be a loving and protective companion.

If you think you could find a place in your home for this fantastic dog, please visit http://www.furandfeather.org. He is living there now but would really like to have a new full-time human companion.

If you can't find room in your home or your heart for Puppy, please consider sending a donation to Fur and Feather Animal Assistance. They care for many animals like Puppy who would otherwise not have any home at all.
