County, City of Williams Reopen Cataract Lake County Park

Following a $2.1 million investment from Coconino County voters, Cataract Lake County Park reopened to the public in Williams April 13.

“Renovating Cataract Lake County Park is a project and investment that was a long-time coming,” said County District 3 Supervisor Matt Ryan, who represents Williams on the County Board of Supervisors. “This truly is an investment not only in our county parks system, but in the Williams community as well. Visitors can now enjoy amenities, while taking in breathtaking lake views.”

Renovations to Cataract Lake County Park, located at 1500/1510 North County Club Road in Williams, were funded by the Coconino Parks and Open Space Program, a sales-tax initiative approved by county voters in 2002.
