The Arizona Desert In Bloom

Look What’s Happening

March 15, 2013

This is only a sampling of what Maricopa County Parks & Recreation have in store for March.

A perfect spring outing to celebrate Arizona’s blooming beauties: the Wildflower Discovery Walks at McDowell Mountain Regional Park

Join Ranger Amy to identify the gorgeous desert flowers that are blooming in the desert. Every week, different species will appear as the wildflower season unfolds — it is always a surprise what we find!

Call the park for updates and be sure to bring your camera. Every week will be a new location in the park, based on where the prime blooms are, that week. Meet at the Trailhead Staging Area.
