Western Outdoor Times - Times Spent Outdoors: Priceless!

The 22nd Annual Lake Havasu Boat Show is just ahead. This is one of the premier boat shows in the entire Southwest with over 50 different brands including family runabouts, pontoons, fishing boats, wakeboard/ski boats, deckboats, cruisers, PWCs and featuring the cream of the custom high performance sportboat market.

At the Lake Havasu State Park special-event area, there will be food, beverages and a beer garden on-site (no off-site alcoholic beverages or glass containers allowed). Dogs on a leash are okay.

The presenting sponsor is Teague Custom Marine, Valencia, Calif. Co-sponsor is Pirate Cove RV Resort and Marina, Needles, Calif., and the beverage and co-sponsor is Romer Beverage Company, Kingman/Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

This premier event runs Friday, April 19 through Sunday, April 21 with a special “Demo Day” (by appointment only) on Monday, April 22. Hours are Friday, noon-6 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission for adults is $3; kids 10 and under are free, and there is no charge for on-site parking.

The Legends by the Lake Car Show will be on Saturday and Sunday on the greenbelt at the Lake Havasu State Park special-event area.

On Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. is the NWSRA Water Ski Racing at the special-event beach, Lake Havasu State Park.

Also on Saturday and Sunday is the ICS-Sanctioned Chili Cook-Off & Salsa Challenge at the park/pavilion area of the State Park. Tasting kits are available for purchase.
