SAFETY FIRST -- Members of the US Phoenix Sail & Power Squadron stand by the OTW trainer they used for On the Water Training recently. The boat and truck are well put together to allow for not only membr training but also to aid in getting the owrd out that the USPS is moving to train their boating public. USPS is currently advising people to get their Boat Operator Certificate (BOC) or practical On The Water training. The BOC is more involved and its certificate carries a higher level of skills. For more information you may call your local Phoenix Sail & Power Squadron for, as they maintain, safe boating is the key to having fun on the water.
