Annual AZGFD Family Friendly Outdoor Expo

Mark your calendars for March 31 and April 1.

The dates are set for the AZGFD 2012 Outdoor Expo: Saturday, March 31 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, April 1 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Don't miss out on this chance to experience the great Arizona outdoors! The Outdoor Expo is an annual event conducted by Game and Fish to give the public the chance to learn about wildlife-related and outdoor-recreation activities, including wildlife viewing, fishing, hunting, archery, shooting sports, camping, off-highway vehicle recreation, and boating recreation.

“We offer this event each year to introduce or reconnect people with the amazing outdoor resources and activities available in our state,” said Assistant Director Ty Gray. In addition to the hands-on activities, more than 150 exhibitors will be on hand, including sportsmen’s and conservation organizations, government agencies, and commercial vendors of outdoor products and services.

As in previous years, the Expo will be held at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility, 4044 W. Black Canyon Blvd., Phoenix. Exit I-17 at Carefree Highway, go west ½ mile and follow the signs.
