Desert Storm And Lake Havasu Boat Show Run Concurrently

ALL KINDS OF BOATS -- will be front and center at the concurrent Lake Havasu Boat Show, April 20-22 and Desert Storm, April 23-28. Boaters who are interested in speed or pleasure or function (or all three) will find them during this exciting week at Lake Havasu, Ariz. What a way to celebrate our state's centennial!

For 2012, the 21st Annual Lake Havasu Boat Show kicks-off the biggest week-long celebration of BOATING in the Southwest starting Friday, April 20, ending at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 22.

• Monday, April 23 is designated as "demo day" at Windsor Beach launch ramp for prospective buyers.

• Tuesday, April 24, Desert Storm gets underway with a "manufacturers lunch run" to Pirate Cove Resort.

• Wednesday, April 25 is the "Havasu for Youth Boat Rides" charity event and a welcome party that evening.

• Thursday, April 26 is the "Street Party" on McCulloch Blvd. from noon to approximately 9 p.m.

• Friday, April 27 is the Desert Storm Poker Run and after party/awards/dinner celebration.

• Saturday, April 28 is the high-speed "Shoot-Out" competition.

After that — we rest!
