Times Spent Outdoors: Priceless!

A Bartlett Start To 2012-01-12

Come celebrate Arizona’s Centennial with us!

Bartlett Lake In The Tonto National Forest

Bartlett Lake has a boatable surface area of 2,815 acres - more than Canyon Lake and Saguaro Lake, combined. Fed by the pristine waters of the Verde River, Indians of this valley spoke descriptively in their legends of the river's "sweet waters".

Outdoor enthusiasts frequent Bartlett Lake for a variety of recreational opportunities, including shoreline camping in Arizona's natural desert terrain. While in this part of the Tonto National Forest, visitors may see mule deer, bald eagles, javelina, coyotes, and many indigenous desert plants, including the majestic saguaro, mesquite trees and blooming ocotillo.

Bartlett Lake is located only 48 miles from downtown Phoenix and 17 miles northeast of Carefree. The newly engineered, fully paved, scenic Bartlett Lake Road combined with the expanding Phoenix freeway system offers easy access from the entire Valley of the Sun. Tonto National Forest campground improvements, handicap accessibility, and safety features provide for safe, enjoyable recreation including hiking, boating, water skiing and fishing.

Come to Bartlett Lake during this Centennial year or anytime for a great vacation or weekend full of fun and relaxation! Boating, water skiing and jet skiing are popular at Bartlett Lake. It offers the best of both worlds: gently sloping beaches on the west side and mountains that break the wind on the east.

Bartlett Lake Boat Club

Bartlett Lake Boat Club is a membership-based boat club that provides its members with everything needed to enjoy a fantasic day of boating in the Arizona sun.

BLM Boat Club cuts out all hassles of boat ownership for a fraction of the cost of owning and maintaining a boat. In addition, you have unlimited access to 14 boats, ranging from pontoons to high-performance profesional wake-board boats.

Unlike boat dealerships that require a five-year contract and a large down payment, we only require a one-yearcontract, small initial payment and no credit check. Our staff can have you on the water, enjoying beautiful Bartlett Lake in a few hours.

Bartlett Lake Boat Club enables you, your family and friends to experience the boat culture without the hassles, time and expence associated in boat ownership. Your only responsibility is getting out on the water and participate in the enjoyment of boating.

We are offering you a private membership club, providing you with access to a fleet of beautiful, professionally-owned and maintained power boats seven days a week.

Why own a boat when you can use the fleet for less than half the cost!

Our members enjoy the benefits of their boating time on the water with family, friends, and business partners without the expense and hassle of boat payments, insurance costs, slip fees, maintenance, repairs or storage. What makes Bartlett Lake Boat Club attractive is that we take care of all of these expenses and we take care of you.

The Marina At Bartlett

This is not just a place to park your boat. Nosiree. There are many slips, both covered and uncovered, available for your boat at a most reasonable charge.

There is a private marina boat ramp and an on-the-water gas-pumping station. The marina dock store is well supplied with equipment for boaters, watersports enthusiasts, anglers, with items you just forgot at home, and with enough food selections to please almost anyone. Barbecues are available.

And, if you’re interested in just sitting and chatting while enjoying the beautiful Bartlett scenery, there is a comfortable, covered floating patio right in the middle of the marina; it’s a favorite gathering spot.

The 45-Foot Top Deck Party Yacht

This remarkable boat is available for your party, office gathering, or family outing. It has everything you’ll need: restroom, bar with sink, refrigerator, microwave, barbecue, and a cool slide for the swimmers in your group. A favorite for many business retreats, the top-decker will support 35 comfortably onboard. (And, of course, there are life jackets for everyone.)

The Aqua Lodges

Definitely a favorite of Western Outdoor Times/Arizona Boating & Watersports’ owners is a night or more staying on the water in one of Bartlett’s well-equipped Aqua Lodges. These little cabins on the water are a perfect way to get away from it all in the busy Phoenix Valley.

‘But Wait; There’s More’

There is so much more to say about Bartlett Lake, the marina, all the facilities and activities; this is just a start, an incomplete sketch of one of the best vacation (or staycation) destinations in our state.

Celebrating Arizona’s centennial at Bartlett Lake is an excellent idea. Call now for more information: (480) 221-0503. http://Bartlettlake.com
