AZGFD Joe Foss Shooting Complex Open

Buckeye range to operate most Saturdays, Sundays through March.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department reminds recreational shooters that the Joe Foss Shooting Complex near Buckeye will be open several more Saturdays and Sundays. The complex will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the following dates:

• Saturday, Feb. 10

• Sunday, Feb. 11

• Saturday, Feb. 24

• Sunday, Feb. 25

• Saturday, March 10

• Sunday, March 11

• Saturday, March 17

• Sunday, March 18

The complex, operated by the Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association (ASRPA), features two ranges – a 200-yard main range, with 40 covered shooting lanes, and a 50-yard training range with 40 covered shooting lanes. All calibers of rifles, handguns and shotguns (slug rounds only) are permitted on these ranges, except for the .50 BMG (Browning Machine Gun). Full automatic firearms are allowed. There also is a trap and skeet field, as well as an archery range with five lanes.

The complex is located at 26700 Buckeye Hills Drive, in the Buckeye Hills Regional Park about five miles south of Buckeye. Discounts are available for active duty military and law enforcement, as well as ASRPA members.
