WINNERS -- Each year, the Rolex World Sailor of the Year Awards are given to sailors for truly outstanding performances, and it should come as little surprise that 2016's class of inductees earned their medals on the waters off Rio de Janeiro at the 2016 Rio Olympics (Aug. 5-21), given the level of sailing caliber to have competed at this quadrennial regatta.
