Whether visitors and residents cozy up in a bed and breakfast, dine at a luxury restaurant or explore the winding and twinkling streets of Uptown, guests will surely find a new holiday tradition for families and friends near and far.

Holiday Central Sedona

Holiday Central Sedona is the annual series of events that delight visitors with glowing holiday trees, decorated storefronts and a plethora of shopping options for everyone looking for holiday gifts. Whether looking for trinkets native to Sedona artists or the high-fashion shops at Hillside Sedona, holiday lists will surely thank you for visiting.

For those who may be looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city, holiday gifts and festive frenzy, the annual events hosted by Holiday Central Sedona will provide holiday-goers a reason to celebrate throughout the month of December. This winter wonderland experience is offered Nov. 24, 2016, through January 9, 2017, with more than 30 events and festivals to be enjoyed throughout the season.

This year's Holiday Central Sedona affair is set to be the biggest yet, with the return of the historic Red Rock Fantasy, in addition to larger scales of the classic events Tinsel Town and Be the Peace Meditation Retreat.

Red Rock Fantasy

Nestled within the world-renowned red rocks of Sedona, Red Rock Fantasy is a festival of nearly one million lights, providing a man-made marvel returning to the city Dec.1 through Jan. 1 after a four-year hiatus. Boasting over two dozen displays created by community organizations and businesses from the Southwest, the festival promises never-before-seen marvels of light. It is the magic that has made Red Rock Fantasy a favorite among residents and visitors alike.

Tinsel Town

This month-long annual event features animated walk-through light displays in the heart of Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village in Uptown Sedona. There is a grove of ancient sycamore trees that dance to music every 15 minutes and on any given night, different activities will surprise visitors. The event occurs every evening in December until 9 p.m. and is free to all visitors.

Be The Peace: New Year Meditation Retreat

Bring in the New Year with meditation and music at a powerful and soul-nourishing retreat. From Dec. 31 through Jan. 1 at the McLean Meditation Institute in the heart of Sedona, join internationally renowned meditation guide Sarah McLean and mystical musician and recording artist, Ani Williams. With guided and silent meditations and chanting, it's a beautiful celebration, perfect for any level meditator.
