Since 1983, the Arizona Aqua Stars Team has been developing girls and women into nationally accomplished athletes in the sport of synchronized swimming. The past 10 years have seen the AAS team becoming a national force in synchronized swimming. The team has been represented at seven National Age Group Championship Titles and 10 placements on USA National Teams.

The AAS philosophy is that all swimmers, young or mature, develop to their full potential and nurture a lifelong love for the sport and wellness in general.

Becky Thompson, coach, says, "The Masters Team continues to grow and has gone from a nine-person team up to 13 in the last month. We are always looking for women to join our team. You don't have to have any prior synchronized swimming experience although basic swimming skills and feeling comfortable in deep water without floatation device are necessary.

"Plan to come, get a great workout and make new friends.The AAS's program is open to girls and women ages 6 through 60+. "
