Coast Guard Members Value 'Fellowship' Times

Colorado Bell

In the Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary we have a cornerstone activity called "Fellowship." Fellowship is when we all get together, relax and have a good time doing non-Coast Guard missions.

This past weekend we had our Inland Rendezvous in Laughlin, Nev. We had a great time riding PWCs on the Colorado River, a Friday night hospitality suite, a tour of Oatman, Ariz. with a historical poker run, talking to old friends, and we finished the weekend with a great banquet dinner at the Colorado Belle.

We work very hard as volunteers in many different fields; this is our way of relaxing, kicking back and enjoying each others' company.

We have another fellowship event coming up in a few weeks which is the Cactus Coast Guard League fall brunch. This is one great feed for $15.00 - all you can eat brunch at the Oakwood CC, 24218 S Oakwood Blvd., Sun Lakes Ariz. This brunch is open to anyone who is in the Coast Guard, has been in the Coast Guard, associated with the Coast Guard, or wants to be in the Coast Guard.

For more information go to http://www.tucsoncoastguardcommunity.org . Hope to see you there (just don't stand in front of me in line).
